Dear Republicans,

Like you, I’m tired of electing Republican elected officials who talk like conservatives but vote like liberals. It’s time to elect officeholders who say what they mean, and mean what they say.

It's no secret that we are in the middle of the biggest economic crisis in a lifetime. The California budget is billions in the red, threatening our schools, roads, and public safety. The liberal's answer? Massive new taxes on small business owners and the middle class to protect the tens of thousands of Sacramento bureaucrats' jobs, their outrageous salaries and their gold-plated pensions.I’ve spent my life working for conservative Republican causes and candidates… and it’s my pledge to you that if you elect me I will vote like a real conservative.

My answer: protect our schools, roads, and public safety by cutting waste and mismanagement in state government, starting with the bureaucrats. My answer: get the economy going again by cutting the red tape, fees, and frivolous lawsuits that are forcing small business owners to lay off their employees and close their businesses.

Let me be blunt:

I oppose new taxes to bail out politicians who won't cut waste. It's already hard enough to afford the mortgage, the children's tuition, and the gas bill.

I oppose benefits and drivers licenses for illegal immigrants. If we eliminate the billions we spend on illegal immigrants we wouldn't have a budget hole.

I support protecting core government services like schools, roads, and public safety. The way to protect those services is to eliminate waste, not raise taxes.
