Sacramento- San Diego Assemblyman Martin Garrick, Assistant Republican Caucus Leader, has announced his endorsement for Paul Hegyi for the 10th Assembly District.
"As a member of the Republican Leadership, I need members that know how to get to work immediately on the problems facing California. We can no longer afford on-the-job training in the age of term limits and Paul will be effective immediately," said Garrick. "He has a long history of public service and is the right candidate for the 10th District. He knows what needs to be done to fix the system and is committed to reining in out-of-control state spending."
"Assemblyman Martin Garrick is a dedicated leader in the Republican Party and has long championed the important issues of tax reform and improving our business climate. Remaining committed to these issues will help turn around the state of our economy and I look forward to working with Martin," said Hegyi.
Hegyi, currently chief of staff to Assemblyman Van Tran, is running against Democrat Alyson Huber, who in her first-term voted for the largest tax increase in California history.
