Sacramento - The Sacramento Young Republicans have voted unanimously to endorse Paul Hegyi for the 10th Assembly District.

"Paul Hegyi is the best candidate to win in November and the Sacramento Young Republicans are proud to stand with him in the Republican Primary, "said YR Chairman Scott Raab.  "It is time for new faces and new leadership and Paul represents that new generation."

"I am honored to have the endorsement of the Sacramento Young Republicans," said Hegyi.  "No one works harder for our party and their impact in a primary will be critical to our victory.  I am looking forward to working with them."

Hegyi, currently chief of staff to Assemblyman Van Tran, is running against Democrat Alyson Huber, who, in her first-term voted for the largest tax increase in California history.
